Biking Banos, Rafting Tours BañosSome riders just need more, this is why one of the most popular adventures we have is mountain biking. As adventures get longer and trails more remote, many riders see increased value in reliability and downhill control, this is why everyday our bikes are cleaned and maintained by our specialized professional biking team. The bigger tires, plush suspension and powerful brakes of our mountain bikes are an insurance policy against accidents and mishaps and can be just plain fun to ride. With geometry suited to steep terrain and small drop-offs our bikes inspire confidence and reliability.
We offer different professional levels of bikes and sizes. All the bikes are made in aluminum frame and have front suspension with front travel with 80 or 100 millimeters. All components are Shimano and all saddles and tires are meant for off road. All our bikes have double wall rims.
Biking and Rafting Banos – Pastaza River level III/IV BOOK NOWFULL DAY:The trip departs from Baños at 8:00 in the morning. We will go downhill by bike to Rio Verde for 17 km. On the way, we pass two National Parks (the Llanganates and Sangay) and you can see lots of waterfalls and cloud forest. The rafting trip starts at the Penal. Once we get there, the rafting staff will set up the equipment and then give a safety talk so that you know what to do on the raft, like paddle commands and other tips to be safe on the river. Once the group has practiced on the land we are ready to go on the greatest adventure in the river! The landscape around you is the secondary forest and you will have the opportunity to see birds and different kind of trees. The trip ends in Madre Tierra where our driver will be waiting for us. Then, we drive to Puyo and have lunch. After that we are heading back to Baños. PLACE: PASTAZA RIVER INCLUDED: Transportation Optional by: Mountain bike only 17 km then by van or truck till the river, First Aid kit, professional equipment (life jackets, helmets, paddles, wet suits), lunch. TIME: Minimum 1.45 min hrs. – Maximum 3 hrs DISTANCE: 44 Km from Baños to the Pastaza River GROUP SIZE: Minimum 3 people - Maximum 12 people DOES NOT INCLUDE: Tips for the guides, cable car.
