Day 1 : Transfer¬† Airport – Hotel . Overnight in ¬†Quito.
Day 2: Old Town and Middle of the World. Overnight in Quito. Breakfast included.
Day 3: Otavalo¬† Market, Peguche waterfall and Cuicocha Lake. Overnight in Quito. Breakfast included.
Day 4: 8:00 am we leave to the Volcano Avenue. Stop at Cotopaxi National Park and visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon at 3800 meters. Overnight in Quilotoa at Samay Kirutoa Lodge. Breakfast included.
Day 5: ¬†After breakfast we will take a hike to the incredible¬† view point called Shalala. Lunch at Samay Kirutoa Lodge. Drive back to Quito, in the way we can stop in the Tigua Art paint. You will also have the opportunity ¬†to see indigenous villages. Overnight in Quito. Breakfast included.
Day 6: After breakfast we will drive for 3 hours to Termas Papallacta, after you are set up in the rooms you will have time to enjoy the spa in natural pools.
The Cayambe – Coca Park . Here you will learn the water quantity consumed by the people in Quito. This park is located in the Andes Mountains one 3,300 meters above sea level, near the Cayambe -Coca National Park ( 403,103 hectares ) that constitutes a ONU Protected Area of Great Importance, a wet moor. The moor is also a RAMSAR site ( Recognition World to Your Wealth and Quality waters).
Overnight in Termas Papallacta. Breakfast
Day 7: After breakfast we will drive for about 3 hours to Tena. In Tena we will stop for lunch , then¬† to continue for¬† 1 hour¬† driving until the entrance of Itamandi Ecolodge¬† located in the entrance of the Arajuno River. Canoe ride for 15 minutes to get to the Lodge.
Night walk (optional). A flashlight and camera are the most important tools on this night excursion, which allows guests to hear the nocturnal sounds and to look for fishing bats, owls, a variety of insects, tarantulas, toads and frogs, and possibly snakes. If the sky is clear, we might have the chance to do some stargazing.
Day 8: 5:45am ‚Äď 6:00am (if the climate it permits) Parrot Clay Lick
For bird lovers we take a canoe ride for 15 minutes upstream early in the morning to visit a parrot clay lick (Saladero). We appreciate a unique site where parrots and parakeets gather in order to obtain the minerals that will help them to digest the fruits or seeds they have consumed. Hundreds of parrots and parakeets will approach the treetops and later will come down to the clay bank to eat this soil rich in minerals. It is essential to have binoculars to enjoy it.

After a scrumptious breakfast we head out for a hike through the primary and secondary Rainforest. Our expert naturalists teach you about the ecology and flora and fauna of the Rainforest along the trail. You will observe a great variety of insects, a diversity of birds flying around us and with some luck reptiles or monkeys. This activity takes about 2 ¬Ĺ -3hours.
Back at Itamandi EcoLodge for Lunch and a siesta.

In the afternoon it is time to enjoy a cultural activity. An Amazonian Kichwa community will receive us and we learn about their way of life and the interaction they have with the forest. This encounter is going to show you that part of the Amazonia that you do not find on the maps: the Amazon people.
Part of our visit to the community involves the demonstration of the famous ‚ÄúChicha‚ÄĚ, a fermented yucca drink that has become part of their festivals and daily use. We will take part in the preparation of this beverage and also try some of the local cuisine.
We finish the visit with a traditional dance performed by the kids in this community and you also have some time to buy some handicrafts, made by the indigenous. This little business is to support the indigenous people in their daily life.

¬†Day 9: ¬†Itamandi Ecolodge, 8:00am Breakfast
9:00am Check-out and motorized canoe ride for 20 Minutes to the Arajuno Bridge, after we will take the car to drive¬† via Puyo ‚Äď Banos. We will have our lunch in Puyo. After we will continue¬† to visit the waterfall route in the way to Banos including the Pailon¬† del Diablo one of the famous waterfall. Overnight in Banos. Breakfast included
Day 10 : Outdoor activities in Banos (optional) ¬†like: Half day rafting or Canyoning, Visit to the Tree House. You can also visit the Hot springs at night or early in the morning, the Hot springs are open from 5 am till 22:00pm.
Day 11: After breakfast at 7am¬† we will drive from Banos to Alausi for the Train ride for 2 hours. The train leaves every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. The train would bring us to the Nariz del Diablo and then Alausi where our driver will be waiting to pick us again. After we will visit the Incas archaeological ruins called Ingapirca, then travel to Cuenca where we stay overnight. Breakfast included
Day 12 : City Tour in Cuenca (Churches, museums, viewing point in Turi, archaeological center and Pumapungo). Visit of the workshops of the Panama hats. ¬†Breakfast included.
Day 13: Visit The Cajas National Park trekking to the top of a mountain where we will have a beautiful view of many lagoons. Return to Quito or Guayaquil by plane. Breakfast included.
